FENTON AMERICAN COMMEMORATIVE PLATE
IN GOD WE TRUST
This is a Fenton Milk Glass White Bicentennial Plate 1776-1976. In God We Trust. This is number 3 of 4 in the Series.
George Washington and his men are holding out in the Valley Forge. On the back it says Issued January 1, 1976. Official United States of America Bicentennial Commeorative Project of the General Federation of Women's Clubs.
On the back it reads: "Once declared Independence and yet to be won. At Valley Forge during the bitter cold winter of 1777 and 1778, General George Washington and his troops placed their trust in their Creator, then sucessfully pitted their courage against seemingly over-whelming odds."
Only stored in box. No chips, cracks, etc.
